Penny is 1!!!

Slow down the time! I can't believe our baby Penny is 1. Time really has gone by fast. I feel like each new kid in our family grows up faster than the other.

 

 

A little about Penny:

 

She's feisty! She can hold her own or at least vocalize it when someone is bothering her. I think when you're not the oldest you have to stick up for yourself.

 

She loves to tease and bug. Mostly by crawling at you, pulling your ear or hair- stuff like that.

 

She loves her family. She DOES NOT love to be held by people she doesn't see often. She mostly likes Jason and I holding her,  with an exception of a couple lucky people. She'll smile and play with you but if you go to hold her that's to much for her. She needs to be able to get away.

 

She has 4 teeth. Both her bottom teeth and One of her top front and the one beside it. Funny.

 

Will eat pureed vegetables but WILL NOT eat softened veggies. She sees a pea and she cries. She's still my best eater except the veggie thing now. So she still gets pureed vegetables.

 

Her first word was Mama. She does say Baba, and b- buh (bye bye), and I have recently heard Dada.

 

She loves to be chased by us.

 

She's petite but bigger than Talia was. She has immunizations tomorrow so we'll see her measurements tomorrow. I think she's got the smallest head of our kids so far. She fits in though. Our kids haven't been very rolly polly yet.

 

She's loud at church. Does not like to stay still. Reminds me of Jace a lot personality wise.

 

She's long. My prediction is she's going to be taller than Talia. Probably take on Jason's genes more, and Talia more like me.

 

Always been a good sleeper and still is! Not sure I'll be able to handle a baby that doesn't come out sleeping 8-9 hours and then sleeps 12 hours by 2-3 months.

 

She's not a poser. She wont smile on command or look at the camera much. Jace would even smile more than her for the camera. Guess we'll have to work on her. 

 

Her top hair is growing faster than the hair on the back of her head. Opposite of Talia. She's got my hair color. And she still looks like most like me out of our three kids.

She finally decided to crawl up the stairs. She's known how but been to scared. Months ago she went up one or two stairs and fell down. So never again did she try the stairs, expect one or two. So she learned how to get down them before she went up. So now at ONLY 12 months she goes up and down the stairs on her own. It's pretty cute to watch. My other two kids have been 14-16 months going back down stairs.

 

She's won us all over. We love her to pieces and really can't imagine life without her.
