Remember this???

If anyone remembers I was slightly swollen when I was pregnant with Talia and here is the proof that each pregnancy is different.

See a difference? Yes I was pregnant in summer the first time but if anyone knows me I am hot always so don't think it made that much of a difference and I just went to Mexico and my feet never swelled like the above.

My feet aren't that cute but I think they look a heck of a lot better this time around. Everyone keeps saying wow you've gained way less weight and I guess I've gained less but I'm getting closer to where I ended up with Talia (weight wise). I guess it makes me feel better that I didn't intentionally blow myself up. 

This pregnancy has gone by fast and is WAY better. Still have a few things (the normal annoying pregnancy things- numbness on top of belly, gaining weight, getting immobile- normal) but I really cannot complain because last time was a living nightmare. Makes me curious to see if my girl pregnancies suck and the boys are good. We'll have to wait and see till next time!  

Can't believe I'm 37 weeks pregnant. We're almost ready. Baby room done (photos to come), Talia's room needs a little work now (since we stole all the baby stuff minus her crib), car seat ready. I just need to clean the house, make meals, get my pre-natal papers (ya my doctor didn't give them to me yet, she's pretty relaxed as you know she let me travel to Mexico at 36 weeks pregnant), pack a bag for me/ baby, and a bag for Talia for where ever she's going. I guess I should get on that.

MEXICO- We're back!!!!

 So we made it back from Mexico without going into labor! It was a fun trip and we're so thankful for my mom who was able to watch Talia for the week. We missed her so much but realize it would have been a VERY different trip with her. Maybe when she's older! We're also glad we missed the cold week with tons of snow! can't believe how much snow we have!!!

They offer snorkeling in the pool just to try it out. Last time my family went (5 years ago) I tried it out but this time they wouldn't let me, understandable. I think sometime Jason and I will both get certified but the pool will do for now.

I love the beach here. There is NO seaweed, the water is warm, and the waves are so fun to play in.

There were animals all over our resort. Monkeys were probably the funniest to watch.

We went to Tulum. It was on and off cloudy and super humid.

Next we went to Xel Ha. You can do a bunch of stuff here. We snorkeled for an hour and a half, Jason did the zip lines and some cliff jumping, and then we ate. It was a fun day!!!

So hot this day! We got a lot of cloud but had a couple of clear sky super hot days. Love Mexico!

Playing beach volleyball. I actually played and had a lot of fun. Obviously not going to do a lot of jumping and hitting but I can still serve and pass the ball. It was fun....

...until this happened. I hate that it looks like I did something crazy. I actually just went down on one knee (on purpose) to bump the ball off the net. There was something hard in the sand and my whole leg scraped it. I didn't know it was this bad until we washed the sand out. This made me more of a spectacle than I already was, oh well I guess. At least you'll be happy to know we won the point!

Playing water basketball. Not many people are 6'5'' there so Jason got called the big guy a lot. Looked like fun!!!

Embarrassing! Had no idea I was wearing two different flip flops. We even went out to dinner and the only reason I realized this was because we went to walk down by the beach. So I went to take off my flip flops and this is what I saw! Apparently I don't pay attention to what flip flops I am putting on and then I can't see over my belly!

We had a lot of fun. Would have been really fun with lots of family there. My family went to this resort 5 years ago and it was SO much fun. My last three family vacations (California, Panorama, and Mexico) I've been pregnant, so I really look forward to not being pregnant next vacation. Now on to our next big thing preparing for and having this baby!

Christmas

A Low Christmas

 Christmas this year was in Cardston. It's the first time in years that all 21 of us (6 grand kids, 8 original siblings, 5 in laws, 2 parents) could be together under one roof. It was a lot fun! We actually ended up spending more time together because a lot of us were house stricken with gastro (basically the runs or throwing up) or a cold spread through the house. I was very fortunate not to get it but in the end the illnesses didn't take away from the fun! Thank you Brian and Cynthia for hosting such a fun Christmas

We opened our sibling gifts on Christmas Eve once the kids were in bed. It is new tradition of drawing siblings and spouses all individually and keeping it secret. Must say I LOVED it! Then we gave the Low parents their main gift. A book of memories that Julie had so nicely put together.  Total 710 memories from children and spouses. That was a high light of Christmas listening to every one's memories!

Santa's helpers put the tree together so nicely! Crazy amount of gifts but there was 21 of us all staying in one house. It was fun to see!

Talia was a little sick here so she basically stayed close to Jason and I and she looks a little out of it, but I do think she had fun! Who wouldn't opening gifts?

Doesn't she look so scary? She's nine months, crawls, is the CUTEST baby, and has the happiest and most pleasant demeanor. Well apparently Talia didn't see this and every time Claire crawled near Talia, Talia went running the other way screaming! Maybe one day Talia will see the true Claire. We love this girl!

Since Christmas this year was in Cardston earlier in December my family did a little Christmas get together had a little program/ games and exchanged gifts with those that were leaving. It was a lot of fun and unfortunately did not get many photos.

Well their were many high lights this Christmas but one of them was a surprise call from my brother on Christmas Day (who is on a mission). I'm lucky I caught the call. I was in our room changing Talia's diaper and I hear my cell go off. Odd and I totally missed the call, then I hear Jason's cell go off. I miss that call as well and saw that it said Utah. Then I start panicking because I thought I missed it. I even tried to call the number right back but no luck. Anyways luckily he called my cell again! I was SO happy. By far one of my favorite gifts!

I love Christmas and we were very spoiled with having so much time off to spend with family and spoiled with gifts. We feel very blessed and love everyone of our family members! Next up Mexico (TOMORROW!!!!!). My mom and Dad are watching Talia so it's just Jason and I. Hopefully we don't have a little Mexican down their. After Mexico we are playing the waiting game for our baby!

Anyways thanks for putting up with this long post. Mostly for journal purposes!
