A little picture update

I feel a little behind. There hasn't been anything major in our life but I still feel like its worth blogging. so here's a little picture update from our life, and by little I mean a lot of photos. Also all iphone photos. Yes I have a good camera and I need to bring it out more often but ALL these photos were random photos which iphones are good for.

June 8th- Jason took both kids to costco and I had a break. Thank you hunny!

 June 11th- Wasn't hot out in the morning then it in the afternoon so they played in buckets. Eventually we did bring out the pool.

 June 12th- Sprinkler while I weeded (which I need to do more of) and then pool later on our deck

 They both loved the pool this day. Sometimes it takes convincing for me to get them in

June 13- Early mornings 

 First time putting ANY color in my hair. It wasn't much but enough to show when it's curled. Also my sister Paige did the color and cute. Did what I asked :) Plus she did something neat where you keep the top hair totally naturally so you don't see routes and don't really need to come back often or at all.

While I got my hair done Jason made the kids a tent

 Jason went to work and Jace got BUSY!!!

 I love this boy but he sure keeps me on my toes.

 June 15- Watched my friends kid and caught him kissing Jace. They're 5 months apart, Jace older

 June 16- went grocery shopping for fathers day and caught Talia showing some love. CUTE!!!

June 17 - FATHER'S DAY

What can I say my kids have a great dad as evidenced from above posts. We're very lucky!!!!

 June 18th- busy in cupboards and LET'S PLAY

 Edmonton has great indoor playgrounds. So glad both of my kids are getting to the age where they can play more at these things.

 June 19th- Usually goes without a nap but she couldn't do it today. cute!

 Also later that day we went out to try and track down stuff for family photos and my brothers wedding so Talia and I had a mommy daughter date.

 June 21- Jace introduced Talia to the cupboard

 Blizards for my birthday YUM! Didn't want cake because then I'd be "forced" to finish it all on my own.

 And yes I got a big one didn't finish it but I enjoyed it the next day

 June 25th- Did laundry- they got really clean!

 Terrible putting this photo together but this is the rainbow right from the view of outside my house. It was incredible. I've never seen one this big and the whole rainbow. Beautiful. It was right outside my house!

Sprinklers and small really small pools

Had a good day

First went to my sisters house. She has an amazing backyard with an amazing tree house her husband built. Talia loves playing outside and LOVES Avery so it was great. On the way home she screamed out of frustration and sadness that she had to go. I told her its ok and I could tell she wanted to cry she was so sad but she continued to scream so I told her it was ok to cry when you're sad. Then a couple minutes later she just broke down. Thankfully we were close to home so I was able to hold her and hug her. She truly just wanted to stay.

Had to cuddle her a bit to sleep (she was over tired at this point) then both talia and Jace woke up from naps we spent most the of the remaining time outside. I weeded while the kids played in the sprinkler and with chalk. Thank goodness my kids don't like to go far from me so they didn't run out on the street while we played in the front yard. Hopefully that lasts but not sure if it will with Jace? I hate weeding but got some of it done...

After we went inside for 30 minutes and only that... Jace freaked out wanted to go back out so we ventured back to our "yard" which is a deck... *Sigh* can't wait till we have a big backyard. I did find one positive (there are more but mostly for older couples not young kids) and that is that you don't get grass in your pool!!! Anyways didn't have time to blow up (girls night!!!) the other pool so we set up the mini pool. Kids loved it. Happy kids make a happy mom. They actually sat and "swam" in the pool for a long time.

The day didn't start out nice and when it got nice we didn't have plans and the kids were pretty over tired from a short nap for one and a no nap for the other.

But nothing takes away tired and crazy behavior than water in buckets! Everyone likes getting wet in their clothes right?

We set up the pool after and they played in it while I made dinner and Jason watched the kids.

Pictures picture pictures

I love taking pictures of my kids and I just got this awesome chair from a friend Kim Loewen. She's amazing talented with refinishing furniture and I was lucky enough to get this chair from her. Thanks again Kim!!!

Anyways My sister in law Leslie thought we should go take pictures and it was a perfect day so we did! Thought they turned out great and wanted to share some. I'm glad she caught a few with me in them. I never get photos of me and my kids. Unfortunately I am not a model and need to work on angles because every photo of me looking was NOT a good angle. I do LOVE the ones with me and kids though. I just love love love them.

I love my kids and like I said before I love taking photos of them. I need to stop taking photos so often of ones that are frame worthy because then you never actually get to framing them before you always have a newer one. I do love these so I think a couple will be going up on the wall.

This is my nephew Benson. He's Richard and Leslie's first baby. I'm so glad he's in the Low family. He's the only boy and cousin near Jace. They're going to be great buds. Give it a little less than year and they'll be playing and getting in to trouble all over the place.

He seems serious but I think like Talia was and most kids at this age are they're not sure about new adults that aren't their mommy or daddy. He's smiley when his parents are around, likes watching other kids and loves to grab at things- mostly faces. He gave his mom a pretty good bloody nose this past week, so watch your face! He's a cutey, looks like his Mommy, and has expressions like his Daddy.
