So long sweet summer...

Well summer is over and we are back to school. Before we get onto back to school posts here is my last picture update for the summer! 

One day we had to bring Jason a second set of clothes... he got something gross on him at work that did not come from him Apparently cysts stink.

Penny frequently talks on fake hot tog buns. She often is having a conversation with my sister Taren. Taren just doesn't know it.

One of our last summer swims. Seems like after this day fall hit and summer was out. 

But who needs a pool anyways?

Taren moved into our ward. Look how we dressed... guess we are twins! Just opposite twins, even opposite in hair and eye color.

I like these two ;)

Ok there was another nice day and we did take advantage and went for a swim

This boy may be my early riser (not that early just after 7) but he really falls asleep within minutes of going down.. sometimes in uncomfortable positions.

Projects at the parents house... Jace was in heaven. In fact he got to drive it as well, and turn it on his own. 

We've been doing pretty good at having consistent FHE's. Sometimes I think the kids are bored so instead of staying in we went to the temple. The kids loved it. I wish the grounds were open on Mondays, but they're not. 

Grateful for eternal families and for my testimony of that.

Oh and we brought Dor-da of course.

This was clearly a no makeup and hair day... 

Jason took himself and Jace to the barber. Kind of cute. I love his new hair cut and will be excited for the top to even grow a bit. Just love the idea of a father and son going to the barber.

Free back to school cut. Apparently they were out of yellow (which wouldn't show up in his yellow hair anyways) and blue chalk stuff, so he went red. He's lucky any color shows up in his hair.

Another FHE- child labor. Kidding but this counts right? They loved it and we had an FHE treat, Families that work together stay together!

We went to the Edmonton symphony in the park

Last year it was warm and kids were in shorts (we didn't go my sister and kids went) and it was Disney songs the kids could sing to. This year was fantasia and some older Disney songs. Maybe more for us. But it was fun and we road the LRT. Maybe the best part... we got a babysitter for the younger two. 

I think the kids LOVED the fireworks at the end.
