Penny's Baby Blessing

So on June 2nd, 2013 we had Penny's baby blessing. She was given her blessing by her Dad. We also had lots of family come for it. In the circle was Jason (her Dad obviously), Both grandpas, Tal and Brian. The Brothers and Brother in laws Justin, Richard, Brian Brinkerhoff, Alvin, Jordan, and Dave. Also the Bishop of our ward, Bishop Jackson. The dress she wore was the dress I wore and Talia. It's pretty cute!

It was a beautiful blessing. What I remember was that she'd be a beacon to her siblings. And she'd look to Talia and her Mom as examples. There was much more and it was beautiful, unfortunately I had Jace dump out all  his snacks on me and beside me right during the blessing.

Penny was such a good girl. She slept the whole time!

Penny has been a great baby. She can be "fussy" in the evening but really is manageable and she doesn't scream. She just wants to be held and fed. She's been sleeping great anywhere from 7-9 hours for the first stretch. She's a loud sleeper so since 2.5 weeks she's been in her crib. We're not totally in a routine, other than she does know when it's night time. We do the eat, play and sleep. That's our routine for now. Nothing is solidified, like when bedtime is (anywhere from 9:30pm-11 pm), and what times she eats (when she wakes up and every 2.5-3.5 hours during day), and how she likes to sleep (wrapped or not? I can't tell ha). But really she's right where she should be, eating, playing then sleeping. She's sick right now. She has the cold that's gone through the house. There's nothing preventing it. So she did wake up a little more last night.

Whatever she does she's our baby and we love her. She also our smiley baby now! 

I need to do better taking photos. It was a fun week/ weekend. More on that too come. Then onto Jason's little sister Karen's wedding! Busy Busy May and start of June!
